Whose to blame?

WWII was a terrible thing but since it was a "WORLD" war the whole world played a role in it. Hitler played a big part in it but without all the people that believed him and agreed with his thinking, he would have made it no where. If no one had trusted him then the holocaust would never had happened. Hitler showed up at a good time when all of Germany was upset and wanted to blame someone for their downfall, and since the Jews were doing well economically Hitler decided to blame them and many others followed. Without an army Hitler wouldn't have been able to make it as far as he did. Hitler is not the only person we can blame for the Holocaust and WWII tragedies, German Doctors, German Army, Guards at Concentration camps, and many other people all were for the holocaust and helped make it happen. As horrible as the holocaust was, we've realized how evil some people can be. The holocaust was not done by one person, it was done by many and without all these people it would never have happened.

WWII Artifact

WWII was a long and horrid battle. In the novel "Articles of War" by Nick Arvin it describes the terror and fear of war in great detail. An important artifact in this novel is the M-1. The M-1 carbine was what most of the soldiers in WWII carry in battle and "Heck" the main character in the novel uses as well. So far in the novel it has referred to this gun many times and eventually in the story I think it will some how impact Heck. One way the gun might affect Heck is if he ends up killing someone it would be with the M-1.

This artifact doesn't change my opinion about the war, but it does make me think of how people shouldn't be using violence and have to kill each other over certain things. This makes me sad that many people died during war from one man shooting another fellow man with a gun. One gun can have a huge impact on things if a human takes control of it.

Hatin on the Haters

Hate is very powerful and plays a big role in our society today. When you hate someone or something you despise this thing with a passion. Just the thought of whatever you hate can make the hairs on your back stick up. Hate can drive anyone to insanity and almost never ends well. Usually if you hate someone or something it's because that person or thing has affected your morals or values you stand for. For example, if someone you don't know robs your house, even though you don't know them you get angry and hate them because they have stolen from you and you value people not stealing stuff from you.

Not everyone takes extreme measures because of hate but Hitler sure did. It's surprising what one mans hate can do to a whole society but Hitler was so passionate about hating Jews that he tried exterminating their entire race. In the US there is hate all around us, people hating on others sex, race, religion, etc. Slavery was a big part in the US when we were forming this country but now a days that has stopped and there's very few who discriminate against blacks, and whoever says otherwise just remember we do have a black president. The biggest group of people that is discriminated in America today is probably Muslims. Although its not talked about much but with 9/11 (Which affected many people of the US's morals and values.) and people like Osama Bin Laden and Sudhamm Husaine, peoples outlook on Muslims and the Islam religion is very skewed. They don't realize that radical terrorists are a lot different then the very religious Muslims. So all of you haters, please stop HATIN!
